Welcome to our wedding website!
Here's the place where you can figure out where you're staying, what you'd like to see while visiting Calgary and the Rocky Mountains, and , of course, get information on the wedding day and events themselves.
There are some significant differences between British and Canadian wedding traditions so we are trying to blend the 2 together to create a hybrid of both. Due to this there will be some alien goings on for almost everyone attending the festivities - we'll be doing our best to guide you all through these both via this website and also in other communications as we get closer to the day. Sit back and enjoy the ride!!!
As we get closer to the date more and more stuff will be added to the site as stags and hens are organised, meet and greets are decided on, and all those things that we've not yet thought of come up.
If any of the Brits have questions, please direct them to Ruthie who will be helping to herd you lot, the Canadians can direct their questions to Chris or Helen.
Anybody trying to RSVP past the August 31st deadline will notice that there is no longer an option to RSVP via the website; as stated on the invite, not responding prior to the RSVP deadline would result in our assuming that you were declining the invitiation.
During the first week of September the rooms at the Banff Springs will be block booked for those who have requested a room. You will be sent a reminder e-mail to call them and make your reservations. Please remember that Chris and I are liable to pay for any rooms booked on behalf of guests but not paid for. If you wish to change your mind about staying at the hotel you need to do it before Sept 1st.
